O Tahiti é a maior ilha da Polinésia Francesa, localizada em um dos arquipélagos da região, o arquipélago das Ilhas da Sociedade. Sua capital é a cidade de Papeete, situada na costa noroeste da ilha. A ilha tem área de 1.048 km² e quase 200.000 habitantes.
Sempre foi meu sonho vir para cá por alguns motivos: surfar em uma bancada de coral que se chama Teahupoo, onde está uma das ondas mais difíceis de surfar, viver um tempo no lugar onde todos os surfistas brasileiros chamam de "paraíso", e agora estou entendendo o por que, aprender francês e, claro, conhecer essa cultura super diferente e interessante.
Cheguei aqui há cerca de dois meses atrás, e muita coisa aconteceu desde então; entrei em uma escola, comecei a aprender francês, conheci o Gabriel Medina (sou muito fã) no Pro Teahupoo, que inclusive ele ganhou, fiquei amiga de muita gente, fiz várias marca de batidas em coral por todo o corpo... Enfim, tudo o que posso dizer é que estou amando esse lugar e achando absolutamente tudo demais.
Vou passar esse ano todo aqui, e com certeza vou conhecer muito mais coisas, lugares e pessoas, mas por enquanto o que digo é que gosto de tudo e todos aqui, Tahiti está virando uma segunda casa depois do Brasil.

I decided to do a post about the island of Tahiti so you can situate it better.
Tahiti is the largest island of French Polynesia, located in one of the region's archipelagos, the archipelago of Society Islands. Its capital is the city of Papeete, located on the northwest coast of the island. The island has an area of 1,048 km ² and almost 200,000 inhabitants.
It was always my dream to come here for a few reasons: surfing on a bench coral called Teahupoo, where is one of the most difficult waves to surf, spend time where all Brazilians surfers call "paradise", and now I understand why, learn French and, of course, know this super different and interesting culture.
I arrived here about two months ago and a lot has happened since then; I walked into a school, I began to learn French, met Gabriel Medina (I'm a big fan) in the Pro Teahupoo, including that he won, I became friendly with many people, I made several brand of beats in coral throughout the body ... Anyway, all I can say is I'm loving this place and everything that is here.
I will spend the whole year here, and I will know a lot more things, places and people, but for now what I have to say is that I like everything and everyone here, Tahiti is becoming a second home after Brazil.
