Aniversário no Tahiti- Birthday in Tahiti

 Foi aniversário de uma de nossas melhores amigas aqui no Tahiti, Tepoe. Ela é uma garota muito simpática e amável, como a grande maioria desses lindos Tahitianos. Os aniversários aqui são bem parecidos com os brasileiros, bolo e diversão. Dessa vez fomos para uma praia.
It was the birthday of one of our best friends here in Tahiti, Tepoe. She is a very friendly and kind girl, as the vast majority of these beautiful Tahitian. Birthdays here are very similar to the Brazilians, cake and fun. This time we went to a beach.

A maior diferença do aniversário na praia daqui para o Brasil é que nunca se vê um pôr do sol como esse lá. Sou muito grata de ter esse privilégio, e, especialmente, de ter amigos tão lindos como esses.
The biggest difference between birthday on the beach here and in Brazil is that there you never see a sunset like this. I am so grateful to have this privilege, and especially to have friends as beautiful as these.

Halloween in Papeete

Estava olhando minhas fotos de sexta-feira de noite e decidi compartilhar com vocês sobre como foi o Halloween aqui no Tahiti, mais precisamente, na capital de Papeete.
Sim, aqui, apesar de ser longe de tudo, também tem uma certa "tradição" de halloween, mas apenas com a parte de se fantasiar e sair para a festa na rua. Fui com algumas amigas para a rua e lá encontramos o resto do "bonde", como pode-se ver nas fotos.
O povo daqui adora uma festa, todos os finais de semana tem muita, mas acho que nunca vi tanta gente na rua da cidade quanto na noite do Halloween, e também nunca vi as boates tão cheias, não dava para respirar dentro de alguns lugares, e as músicas eram altas, penetrantes. todos, inclusive homens, dançavam até o chão no rítmo do reggaeton local. I was looking at my pictures from Friday night and decided to share with you about how it was Halloween here in Tahiti, more precisely, in the capital of Papeete.
Yes, here, despite being away from it all, it also has a certain "tradition" of Halloween, but only with the part of dressing up and going out to party in the street. I went with some friends to the street and there we found the rest of "our people" as you can see in the photos.
People here loves a party, every weekend has a lot, but I've never seen so many people on the street of the city as on Halloween night, and never saw the nightclubs so full, I could not breathe in some places, and the songs were high, penetrating. everyone, including men, danced to the ground in  reggaeton's local rhythm.
